The notice, issued by the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine &amp; Storage (PPQS), brings to the attention of Indian stakeholders a resolution from the <strong>Ministry of Agriculture, Republic of Lebanon<\/strong>, which <strong>prohibits both the registration and import of pesticides containing Oxamyl.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While this decision originates from a foreign regulatory body, CIBRC has shared it for <strong>general awareness<\/strong>, particularly because global shifts in pesticide regulation often influence trade, compliance frameworks, and future risk assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The update was prompted by a communication from the <strong>Embassy of Lebanon<\/strong> in New Delhi, which forwarded a non-official English translation of <strong>Resolution No. 516\/1 dated 22 September 2025<\/strong> issued by Lebanon\u2019s Ministry of Agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CIBRC, in turn, released the notice to ensure Indian manufacturers, exporters, registrants, and other stakeholders remain informed about evolving international regulatory landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The point to be ntoiced that there&#8217;s an <strong>Exception for Pre-Shipped Material<\/strong>.
